nice town that one glenn, i replied to your post on aussie about what to see and do in vic. and since you are in molong i see you are heading to the hume and aulbry right??? there is a place called jugiong just north of the dog on the tuckerbox - they have a brilliant free camp in their showgrounds. close to the pools and you can shower there in the evenings up till 7pm for a couple of $$ if you dont swim there. of couse madie swam and i showered lol.

go see the dog on the tuckerbox and then on into glenrowan to see the kelly history there.

Hello AM, after all the advice we will be heading south via Forbes, West Wyalong and crossing the border at Tocumwal. We are hoping to meet Nini and Wayne as well.
We also visited Dubbo Zoo a couple of days ago. We went out there late morning but due to the heat most of the animals were hiding from the heat. We went out the next day and did the early morning behind the scenes tour and the animals were a lot more cooperative and put on a better show. Did you get to view any of the scheduled animal feedings? Over the two days we were able to see all the feedings my favourite would have to be the Meerkats and Louise really enjoyed the giraffes.

Yes we were there for the rhinos talk, meerkat feeding - aren't the babies soooo cute.
Saw the giraffee. madie wanted to feed them but I said no cause they want to charge me for doing nothing. likewise most animals were hiding from heat. even the leemars were docile.
we are now at gilgandra in the park on the north side of town. way to hot for us to free camp Im afraid. these pools are worth paying for lol.

Spongy peddle sounds like a slave cylinder, a kit is not very expensive.

well bad news travels fast huh lol.

master slave cylinder needs repacing, parts coming from sydeny and will be here tomorrow. we are in a motel thanks to RACQ a couple of ks out of town.

cluch started feeling a bit funny about half way to coona and gave out altogether (went to the floor and stayed there) when i decided to stop for morning tea at the park by the river. NRMA guys were right around the corner and came out. we hobbled into their workshop and they set to work to find out the problem then we set to work looking for a place to stay. racq lady was awesome.

now guys it wouldnt be a real trip in big red if something big didnt go wrong lol.

didnt think the loose radiator clamp could be the only thing to go wrong lol.

after all the years in the racq and apart from the odd jump start i really havent had need for them. the membership has really paid for itself this time.
