Back home again after a very busy but great 20 day trip away. A clutch m/cyl starting to bypass its seals was about the only problem and that wasn't really a problem unless reversing into a spot or travelling in traffic, the clutch seal released after a few seconds and the pedal stayed on the floor. The trip into Melbourne to pick up bits from 3 different Jaycar stores on Sat was interesting but we made it through and back out by 2pm, camped over night at the Maldon free camp area, what a great spot, left around lunch time and home by 8pm. I had no idea there were so many narrow back roads in country Vic, but it cut hrs off the trip thanks to Margaret's navigating using her smart phone.... well most of the time it got it right
Thankyou to Wendy & Bruce for keeping our plants alive, the front lawn tells the story of a rather dry hot time of it while we were away.

Mount Tarrangower Reserve near Maldon Terry ?
Yep it's a ripper spot.
It was a main venue for the Maldon Music Festival a coupla yr ago until the towns traders whinged about it not being close enough to town and they didn't take enough $.........yep, true, bloody greedy.
That killed that Festival for us, we won't be going back in the short term.

That said, master cylinder issues......pfffft. no biggie

T1,
You obviously didn't work up sufficient thirst to detour to Rutherglen. :(
We were looking forward to a visit. So were the local vigernons... You've cruelled their bottom-lines something chronic!
I bet you just used the clutch master cyl for an excuse.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Sadly our travels didn't go close to Rutherglen, we would have been up to the challenge for sure if we were in the area. there were a lot of friends who missed out on a visit this trip as it wasn't really a holiday trip as such, a court appearance in Sydney a job in the Syd nth suburbs and another on the NSW far sth coast along with a canoe pick up at Barham NSW and the last job near Castlemaine involved criss-cross interstate trips and little time in between to detour. Would have loved to call in on Glenda and JP on the NSW south coast but I doubt they would have appreciated a 10:30pm visit  but certainly planned for the next trip over that way along with a trip through Rutherglen, so better get your knee trolley fitted up with a towbar to move the bootie from one winery to the next 8-)

As usual, still haven't left yet, but soon. Tried to finish off the back log of jobs before we took off again, got half way through so better than nothing. Probably hit the road within the next hr or so and try for Balranald for the over night stop as we need to fuel up again by then anyway. Think we will turn left at Hay this time and come in through the Blue Mtns to Richmond. A great RV rest area set up by Club Richmond there, $10yrclub membership, a boom gate on entry and exit of the RV area, dump point and toilet/shower block.... and a great club a few hundred mtrs away for dinner and a drink afterwards. Some sites even have power and water but no doubt there is an addition fee for those.
Not looking forward to the Tuesday morning shitte fight from Richmond to Hornsby but at least we have till 11am before the appointment.

So, T1 and Margaret have not left the building yet
