Inserting photos

Please can someone explain to me how to insert photos into text in word Perfect. I have got as far as the insert picture, choosing picture. have document open where I want to insert but what now. Granddaughter (9) showerd me a couple of years ago but forgotten. Have set up a blog thingie but that is as far as I have gotten- it is wordpress.com.

Its what I continued when got windows 7 on new puter 2 years ago. i know I am an old girl behind the times. Shall get Teagan to show me again next week at Yamba.

Have been told that it is easier to just have all text/photos done then copy to blog spot. Saves internet time? Might have to get someone to give some lessons at Whitfield???

Kay, our blog is on Wordpress too. Erich does all his posts by email which just sit in his Outbox until we are somewhere with phone signal. He simply writes up the entry inserting the photos where he wants them and uses the command [nogallery], usually at the end of the email but it doesn't matter where, so that the photos remain where he has positioned them. Just to clarify a bit more. If you have multiple emails waiting in your Outbox, you have no control over the order in which they will publish. A short email with one or two photos will be received before a large email with lots of photos. In that case, it is preferable to save each email as a draft, then when you have signal send them in the order you want them to appear, waiting between each one for Wordpress to let you know the previous one has published.

Do you mean microsoft Word or Word Pefect. Word is part of the microsoft Office suite. Word perfect was replaced last century!!

Well try this (no guarantees)

Type in your text and when you want to add a photot go to

Insert > picture & select your photo

Once it is in the document you can scales it to size, position it and have it wrap text.

To wrap text right mouse click on the photo and select wrap text. Have a play and see how you go
