:tanks" Legal matter

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Hey, Tanks,
If you want to swing by Rutherglen en route, we can arrange some winery tours... ;)
(So long as it's not in September...) :D
Regards & God bless,

"tanks" here ---
Thanks Ray, I am still in the route planning stage and possible departure from the West around last week in April or early May. I want to get to DYSART QLD (asap) to have a look at the house I purchased in August last year to use as a winter base. My thoughts at the moment are to head across the bottom, then Ocean Reef Road, and then make my way through Broken Hill to Qld. My neighbor has agreed to come along with me and drive the Sprinter over to Qld, while I drive the Winnebago to Dysart. I will have a look at the map and find out where Rutherglen is located. I do plan to call in on Bob & Bev for a quick visit and renew our old friendship, plus return a tupperware dish I have had since the 40 mile beach (WA) forum gathering back in 2014. I will keep the forum informed when I am eventually mobile.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

"tanks" here again, I have found Rutherglen Victoria. I will not be near or in this part of Victoria on this trip Ray, so may be we will meet along the road --- come up to Dysart Qld when you head North.
I have to correct Ocean Reef Road to read Great Ocean Road. I have'nt started the trip and already I am on the wrong road--- best get the GPS charged before I venture out.

"tanks" here---
THE CHEQUE IS IN THE MAIL !!!!

My solicitor informed me that the cheque from CGA was posted on Thursday. I now have to wait for Aust Post to get it to my PO Box. My solicitor and I have to sign a document to acknowledge receipt and send this to the Perth Magistrates Court with a copy to CGU Insurance and United Fuel, Then we (both my solicitor and me) have to fill in another form for the Court to delist the case and remove the claim from the active Court list.
As such, I have to hang around in Wyalkatchem for a few more weeks to sign a hard copy of the forms and then its ON THE ROAD AGAIN. I will be driving the Winnebago "TANKS 1" , followed by the Mercedes Sprinter "TANKS 2" which will be driven by my neighbour Selwyn, who has agreed to drive to Queensland with me to escape the wheatbelt winter, and save Selwyn having to cut a supply of winter firewood. Selwyn will fly back to Wylie after he has had a look around Queensland and filled himself with fresh seafood, prawns, bugs, and crayfish. I am stocked up with WEIS BARS for the trip.

MOVEMENT WARNING ORDER:-
Confirming the route: Kalgoorlie, Norseman, Caiguna, Eucla, Yalta, Kimba, Port Augusta, Peterborough, Broken Hill, Cobar, Bourke, Walget, St George, Dalby, Cooyar (visit the old RSM from 2/14 QMI), Nanango, Maryborough (visit my Sister and Bro-in-Law), Monto (I will be there before you "Petals"), Biloela, Duringa (been there on the 2013 round trip--great free camp), Emerald, Clermont, Moranbah (pick up the keys for the new winter base) and then on to D Y S A R T !!!

On reflection; I commenced this trip on 30th July 2015 and I was going to go up to Broome and then over the top to get to Maryborough Qld to celebrate my birthday. After almost 2 years of legal wrangle It is a great feeling to restart the journey although on a different route. It is a few thousand kilometers shorter going across the Nullabor route, but I am anxious to get to Dysart to see this house I have bought and get established for the winter months in sunny Queensland.
When I return to Wyalkatchem after the winter (around late September) I will go over the top for the return trip and visit friends at Broome, Karratha, and Geraldton.

If any Forum Members see two old farts on the road we will be on UHF Channel 40, so give us a call and have a roadside cuppa, or catch up at a free camp spot for a happy hour chat. It is easy to recognise us as both the Sprinter and the Winnebago have red/white reflective strips the length of the vehicle. [that is another story].
THE "TANKS" DYSART "FREE CAMP" WILL BE OPEN SOMETIME LATE MAY 2017, SO COME ONE COME ALL AND VISIT ME FOR A WHILE AND LET ME MAKE YOU WELCOME.
