Hey George I also lived in BOI (Parua Bay) you will need your long johns for Lake Taupo but the hot pools will fix that :) You will love it.

Hi George, If you feel inclined drop in on your way south, Dont know your schedule or what time you have but your most welcome.We have a hot mineral pools not to far away.
