I'm really hip, now!

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Been busy getting a whole lotta stuff finished before I'm hobbling about & unable to help SWMBO for some weeks. :P
FYI I'll be in Albury Base Hospital.
3 days to go!
Done the Pre-Op stuff (Thursday), bag is packed, Kindle charged, toothbrush to hand... :D

Looking forward to getting rid of the pain-killers & the wheely-walker.

Two of the projects:
#1 Sun-deck table. Hole in centre is for a 2m umbrella.

#2 And this, just so's people know.
Even though I'd turned a groove in the top of the salt, everyone had to ask...
They don't any more!!! :D

Hi Ray. Janette and I wish you all the best and a speedy recovery. The story of your incident and fall prompted me to install a handrail next to the stairs into the MH. All neally completed now and should be registered next week.

Hi all,
ONE day to go!!
Looking forward to getting this thing over, and starting rehab to get walking without wheely-walker or walking stick.
Thought you might like to see the project I've been beavering away at, to finish before hospital. It's a small table to sit between our folding easy-chairs (which normally go on the road with us) on the sun-deck at home. Somewhere to put the wineglasses & magazines when we're taking it easy.
Because there's a 2m market umbrella involved, the table needed special reinforcement under the slatted top. Quite a bit of on-the-wing engineering under there that no-one will ever see... unless they get literally falling-down drunk! :D

Well, TODAY'S THE DAY!
Hafta report to Albury Base Hospital at 0900, and 'Nil By Mouth' from 0600.
(Dunno what other avenue they think is available at home. :o )
Been fasting since 2359. (Water only until 0600.)
Thanks for your good wishes everyone, seeya on the other side of the anaesthetic.
