A few days ago no clickable links on any forum or email would work, the web address came up on the bar in the top left hand corner but the screen remained blank. Yesterday it was all back to normal, so maybe the service providers added a block in somehow just to make sure :?

OK you motley crew I'm Back to annoy the crap out of you. NBN man been and gone, seems the little mice have enjoyed the cable meal in the ceiling, so right now Gman is up there supplying the little darlings with lots of food. The cable man was of German extraction and as he was going out the door the G man comes out with" well now it's time for the extermination process to begin!" Has anyone seen anyone sink through a solid concrete floor??

Those sticky paper traps with various treats in the middle work really well. Some like cheese, some cashew nuts, popcorn, bread, if one bait doesn't seem to be working we just add a piece of a different one. You need to wash the mice before they go in the bin but a bucket of water and they seem to set up their own agitator action till they think they are clean enough :P
The little buggers we collected at the Horsham gravel pit have taken a fancy to the new collapsible silicon bowls Margret bought recently and have chewed the areas exposed when the bowls are collapsed for storage effectively wrecking them, destructive little varmints.

I saw the supposed mouse teeth marks but I'm more inclined to think the cable was pulled over some sharp tin or something.

It took more than a mth between install and actually getting to work at the house so we are in no rush to get it connected at the workshop until they get their act together a bit better. The original design would have been brilliant, the bodged up mess we have now is worse than fixed wireless and ADSL so at the moment a step backwards.
