Jim's parting message

Post by BruceS »

We have had a member by the name of Jim on the forum for a long time and I'm sure I'm correct in saying he has offered some good advice to members over that time.
Jim has moved on in his life and sent a message to me which I'd like to share with members.
Before I do I'd like to wish both Jim and his wife all the best for the future and thankyou for participating on the forum.

Hi Bruce,
Thanks for the quick response. No, there's no problem it's just that we have now sold our motorhome and just withdrawing from forums associated. I have enjoyed the time that my wife and I were able to travel and for the times that I spent on your forum.
All the best to you and other members.
Regards,
Jim

I think it was Jim who started the Good Morning Daily topic on February 2016.

Good on Jim for telling us he was leaving rather than just fading away into the past by no longer posting leaving members wondering if it was something said or if some mis-fortune has befallen them. Wishing both Jim and his wife all the best for the future and the door is always open if Jim wants to post even though he no longer has a motorhome.

There's no real reason to back off a forum you once had a good interest in.
Jim, I'm sure you've had many great experiences travelling about in your motorhome, many of us are still doing it and often look for thoughts and ideas from others with some knowledge.
Why not hang about here for a while, even if it's just lurking, you just never know when you may have some points to add to a topic.
We all like to hear tips and tricks on travelling and I'm sure you'd have a few of those.

Either way, we all hope you both have some fun in whatever direction the path takes you ;)
