With the fridge on 24/7 the solar keeps up in summer but not in winter, all the gauges and the solar regulator look to be working ok and it comes back up if you put the charger on every so often so you are asking if anyone can shed some light on the problem.......did I get that right?

I'm guessing the position the bus is parked limits the time there is no shade on the solar panels and there is not enough hrs in full sun to fully recharge the battery. Remember it is not just light on the panels but direct sun on the panels with no shade anywhere on the panel. Even a small bit of shade across the panel anywhere will stop that panel from producing anything, even the shade from a radio aerial while have the same affect.
