Time for us to start praying for rain

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

We still have bits of green around up this way but we haven't had proper rain for a while now. Lots of heavy cloud comes over, thunder and lightening, then it rains out to sea, not a good sign for the coming mths that's for sure.

No, we don't want a repeat of that. Just good showers.

pissing down up north, they have waaaay too much. frogs are going at it tonight, we expect big mobs of rain over the weekend, wish i could harness it up and send it to all the dry places.

cannot say im sad about the flying foxes, we have so many here and the danger they pose to young and old in the community here i would like to see them gone from here.

Getting ready to piss down here this weekend by the looks of it, (northern mid north coast). Some good heavy rain through the night. Now we have to start worrying about bloody floods again. Fair dinkum this is a mongrel of a country when it wants to be. Sound like a cockey don't I......Lol.

Flying foxes are a PIA around here for the second time now another has decided to commit suicide on the power lines right in the middle of our driveway. Electricity crowd came around and pulled him down thank god. Last one started to drop his guts all over the drive before they finally got rig of the critter.

Just can't get the balance it's all or none some are getting swamped while others are getting none In our local paper a Local Farmer who is milking 700 cows has tried to cut back to one milking a day because pasture's are depleted & milk intake down all costs are up he is already feeding out his winter silage Corn crops that should yield 30 to 40 tons per acre he says he will be lucky to make 10ton per acre, the cows are bringing themselves up to the dairy to get their 2nd feed rations' so he has to milk anyway. National Parks are getting bigger & bigger they are dry also so the kangaroos are showing up in big numbers eating what the farmer has left.

There has also been warnings not to touch the dying flying foxes as they are full of disease there has been people bitten, there is a group of
do-gooders in the colonies trying to save the dying animals
