For those full timers

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Hi Gary,
Which year model BT50? I am interested in your overall length when all coupled up.I have the Denning and an 09 Ranger supercab and have calculated that I will need to take the tow bar tongue out of the Ranger to stay under 19mtr length limit.
Did you make your own A Frame or buy one off the shelf?
Cheers, Alan
Mazda is 2010 mode; I made my original, Aframe it was a good one except that there was little flexibility when hooking up so I bought a Ready Brute from Gary Lee in Yeppoon, the bloke who designed and made the Hitchngo. Regarding length I come in at around 18.5M and that measurement was a bit lackadaisical.

Okay, ignore the other message I sent with the freight quote. Yours Mazda/Ranger is the same model as mine then. I need to chase up an A Frame and mounting brackets for mine. The length is why I haven't upgraded the Ranger, because the later model is just a much bigger car and would be too long for the 19mtr overall length limit.
Who said it would never go?

Alan,
This mob, Janer.com.au should be able to help you, they are in Melbourne. The people that claim to have exclusive rights to import the Ready Brute Aframe are Northcoach based on the Gold Coast.

If you really want to do it then do it, there is always something that "needs / has" to be done before you do it. Never know what is around the next corner do we?

Sorry to hear you both have holdups. I was going to study nursing this year thinking it would be a handy qualification while working on the road but then had a read of the entry exam

Will you sell up and go? I wish I still owned my Melbourne houses, we'd be set, but we live in a very cheap housing area so there won't be much in the kitty after buying the bus and we will have to work. I'm 15 years younger than my partner and he can get the pension but I can't and getting Newstart while on the road would be nigh on impossible I'm guessing. He keeps saying he's done his time, I can work and he'll play tiddlywinks :D

Keep the stories coming. We can be a support group for the nomad wannabes
