I think when Geoff turned to Sharon and said "I would like to be punished", she misunderstood exactly what it was he wanted!!!

Re: Victorian Road Rule changes from July 1st
interesting rool regarding passing emergency vehicles at 40k.....
As I read it.
Plod has Ronny-right-foot pulled over for an interveiw on the dual carriageway Hume.
-or perhaps he is pulling him over, not yet stopped-
All passers must reduce their speed to under 40?

Peter, it's all to do with 'CLASS'...........
Geoff has developed a case of CLASS and needs to express it in more convivial environs than that of which he is accustomed.........so there........
Geoff, mate, buddy, neighbour...... just to keep on topic here..... we drive on the left side of the road and there is the occasional need to use indicators, something new for foreigners to try

And of course that thing about sharing the road with a train... or tram they call it over there, and turning right from the left lane..... they call it a hook turn and for some reason seems a normal thing for people of grew up there, says something right there actuallyLance wrote: ↑Fri Jun 30, 2017 8:44 pm Peter, it's all to do with 'CLASS'...........

The boss (Sharyn who grew up in Noble Park) has been offered the roll of Customer Experience Manager with Jump Swim Schools based in Melbourne so the move is on.
We spent the winter of 2012 in Bowmans Forest just out of Wangaratta so I know what to expect with the weather.
Lance I've wheeled old Bob the bus with Terry the toad behind many a time through Melbourne so can handle the traffic, learnt the hard way about those right turns in 1968 when we use to venture down from Puckapunyal.
All we need now is somewhere to park an 11m bus.
Regards Geoff

What area are you planning to move to Geoff, or will you be boondocking in the carpark at the big green shed ?

Have made an enquiry at Blue Glum Residential Park at Beaconsfield will find out Monday.
We want to stay central to Narre Warren where Sharyn's brother lives as there are quite a few Jump sites in that area.

Hey Geoff, what were you doing at Pucka ?
We did core training at the Armoured Centre there, going to Melbourne on leave or a weekend was a real eye opener.
After blitzing the Cross in Sydney till daylight during basic training leave, Melb was scary, not a soul on the streets after the pubs closed.
We soon learned that there was just as much raging going on, but not out in the open like Sydney, all behind closed doors, once you knew someone that knew someone, you were set.

Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Yes Keith, but no to 1 RAAC, I was one of the "Gentlemen of The Cavalry" posted to Holsworthy after Pucka.
Did manage to drive one of your 52 ton monsters though, great fun, handling a crash box in my coach is no issue after that.
