Not boring, I would do that work in a heartbeat, if I was given the opportunity. One of the things that I intend to do when I retire is to join the SSAA Farmer Assist program, and also do some time with the Blazeaid crews.
Keep the photos coming please.

I could play with you awhile Maryanne, and tell you I much prefer the company of blokes, but I'll be nice.
I AM female.

The old fella in the photos is my companionship and I am his. We love to live alone and don't need the company of others, although it is nice when his brothers drop by on their way here or there. We also enjoy seeing our native mates on the road, in community or in town.
We used to live much further out than this, 400kms, and one year I didn't go to town for 6 months, such is my love of being alone and out bush.

Janelle (must remember to write my name)

Janelle if you put it in your signature you don't even have to remember it!
What? No donkeys?
Google "Google images" & put in 'Osama donkey".

How long have you been in that place Janelle ?
Is it a plan to be there long-term now or are there other areas beckoning you ?

Re: Goin Bush photos of outback N.T.
G'day Lancelot
we have only been up here this time for about two weeks
Before that, we thought we were done with the Territory and were living in small town SA. Let me tell you something, you are never done with it. It gets in your blood, it worms it's way in past the dust and the flies and the rutted roads and it owns you.
I'm a Victorian, I came up here (in an old Suzuki Swift if you don't mind!) 'backpacking' on a station 10 years ago, met the brother of the station owner and that was that.
Since then we have lived on our own place 400kms from town, been back and forth from down south doing grader/station work and working in communities, tried to leave permanently, twice....and now we are back doing the bores on this place for family.
The house is on the market and the plan is to buy a bus, hook up the Vitara and choof off and work our way around.
But, who knows? We have all the outback and adventure we need right here all around us...
Janelle.
