Testing

Post by Mrcoolabah1au »

Ok some one how do I tell if my solar panels are working if I got gauges and meters that work but there must be at least half a dozen in the bus 🚌 and all seem to be working but 🎛🕯💡🛎❓

A blanket over all the panels but one, turn all the loads off and see how many watts the Victron meter says are coming in, write it down and do the same for the next panel and so on till you have checked all the panels.... then you will know which ones you wired up wrong ;)
Just another note, keep an eye out for the - minus sign beside the watts reading to make sure you don't get the readings mixed up

You would have to have the batteries bulk charging at the time

Looks OK but reset your Victron by holding the 2 centre buttons down at the same time for a few seconds.
......... or wait for T1 to confirm!

That looks like there is no solar at all if that is the result after removing the blanket from each panel one at a time. Don't reset the Victron, those cell voltages are about right for 70% SOC.
Have you checked the solar fuses to make sure they are ok? What are the multimeter reading with the black wire on a battery negative wire and red wire each side of the solar fuses?
