You will just about be able to refit the bit you cut out of the frame and then it will confuse just about anyone who looks at it

As I don't have Mig, I'll get a slightly smaller profile angle and rivet the cutout bit back.

Anyone here know if these epoxy cold weld glues are any good?

I used some type of putty years ago that seemed to work in plugging holes and refitting screw, but cannot remember the name.

Also in the Big Green Shed. Don't mix it too strong or it'll go hard before you use it.

I thought you were going to use a smaller profile angle, then just use the cut out piece to fill the hole?
In that case yes
Not just around the edges though, that won't work

Now you know the side wall on a solar panel is double skin!!! I've seen a few people mount the solar panels by drilling a hole through the side panel, the moisture gets in and trouble starts.
It's a bit like two bits of angle iron with the solar cell between.
Make REAL sure you totally seal where you made that first 'wrong' cut....
Thanks Bruce,

All sealed up

Did panel No 2 today made a video, just needs editing.

Would that be because sunlight over that way is a rare commodity? ;)
Not true Terry here is a pic taken Tuesday morning from my hospital bed.

What are you doing in hospital and how would you get the solar panels there to test them ;) Sadly we seem to have dragged the WA weather back here with us, but at least no hail storms yet

I had some pain last Friday that couldn't be ignored.

Ended up in Hollywood Hospital in Perth, had my Gallbladder removed.

Should be out today.

Truth be know SA gets its fair share of miserable weather, without having to blame the West.
