Easy to run flat with a caravan, thought it could never happen to me... :D but it did...!!! :x

W.A. Pajero towing a Viscount Aero Lite, pouring with rain on a gravel road, driving to conditions as I always do...!!! Driving-towing seemed to get a bit heavier... wack her into 4High, all good, WTF have ya got a 4X4 for...??? Must be the wet track... ;)

Grinding along and a car passes me,arms out the window pointing down, psisin with rain still, find a spot to pull over... sure enough, shredded tyre on the pass side of the caravan, steamin in the wet...

Go to change it with the spare, ya reckon the jack would fit under the Aerolite...??? NO...!!!

Lucky it was a gravel track and could dig it in to fit... funny how I remember this day sooo well compared to the rest of the trip...

So on a dually one pops or slow leak, ya wouldnt know, and who checks em every stop...???

vik... not me...

Via ,get in the habit of going around ya rig before ya take off , :)

It will only take you a minute or so it and will save you grief later on. :o

It is something that everyone should do.
