 Shingles are soooo painful. Get your jabs everyone.
G pulled the washing machine out to give the space a well deserved clean and so while there he put an S bend in. I scrubbed the shower and cleaned some flyscreens. :)

I finished painting the bed base etc. The next job was to get it in through the door, the base was easy with the legs removed, the mattress frame was more problematic even though it was stripped to its most basic state. The fit was always going to be close, and it was. In the end it was so close that removing the pinchweld seal from the door opening was the difference between getting it in and not! So it is in, and it is never coming out!!!
Who said it would never go?

Shingles is horrible.

Be very careful if a 'rash' appears near the eye and if you have a low pain dull headache.

You've got 72 hours from when the virus breaks out on the skin to getting the antivirals. After that, they are ineffective and then dependant on the body working by itself.

Very true. A good friend of ours was on the way to Broome when she had what she thought was an insect bite near her eye. Got to a clinic in Fitzroy Crossing where shingles was mentioned. Later confirmed at Broome hospital. Very lucky to have no permanent damage as our neighbour’s mother lost the sight in one eye due to shingles.
Cheers

Yes, shingles is basically the nerves dying; and you need to be careful of the optical nerve.

George replaced the awning winch worker thing. I made the bed up again and bought stuff back into the bus ie linen and clothes .
