BMV 700 settings ?

Hoobloodyray, done and dusted. Found this great article with great photos on how to install the bmv. My big mistake was that i had left the charger negative on the neg battery post when it should have been on the load terminal of the shunt IDIOT
For those that want a read, i know you guys don’t need it , but if you know someone still wet behind the ears you might want direct them to it.

What it does say is all ‘loads’ should be connected and i in my ignorance thought a load was something pulling power out of the battery not power going in, as i mentioned earlier i am a complete novice with this stuff, at least i didn’t burn anything down or blow anything up

Good find!
It always pays to either disconnect, or isolate via a switch, a battery charger when not actually turned on & charging.
Even if you connect a battery charger when it's still turned off you'll get a small spark as it charges up the caps.
Well a lot of them anyway!!
