Will try Terry’s piece of wood test and then get in touch with Bob to see what he thinks. We might be able to get someone in Tassie to give it the once over. Failing that we might be able to see if Bob has time to look at it once we are back on the big island. Thanks for the help everyone.

Yes, I did thanks Keith. Will give Bob a call once we have tried Terry’s lump of wood idea.

We’re booked on the ferry next Sunday, Terry. It’s not critical as we have a 160l Waeco in the van, just would like to know if it’s repairable.

Thanks Steve but 22l would be too small. Needs to fit the fridge slide in the back of the Cruiser.

Just a bit of tongue in cheek. I'm not sure they would be suited for serious travelling given that their 'motor' is in the lid.

Hi Bob n Bev, if we don’t get the Engel sorted in Tassie will give you a call when we head back to the mainland (probably mid-March unless something changes)to see if we can coordinate a catch up. Hope you two and Jackie are well.

Yes, it is the plastic one. Have been given the details of a mobile repairer in the north of Tassie. Will give him a call when we get there to see what he says.
