Holden's seem to have a lot more DNF's when it comes to race stats, so maybe take 2 sets of spare Holden brgs so you make it there and back with a few pit stops along the way

Got the water pump working in the Hino so no longer need the watering can to flush the toilet. Seems there was a separate relay and switch and bugger only knows what else involved in feeding power to the rear end of the thing.... a wire from the 24v block to the fuse in the spider web cupboard ((aka wiring enclosure) solved yet another electrical dilemma.
The start battery made up out of junk cells works a treat and doubles as a bit of extra capacity to power the air con and now the hot water service too, pure luxury

Re-glued the little piece of aluminium used to show a step edge in the camper.
It started to lift and was becoming a bit risky.
All good now

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Went into Murray Bridge today to test out the skills of a few spare parts stores!
Auto Pro, Repco & Sprint (now Bursons) threw their hands in the air & surrendered.
Went to a bearing shop.
http://www.eastsidebearing.com.au/
Introduced a chap behind the counter to the hub off my boat trailer. He asked was it Holden or Ford stud pattern. I told him it was early Holden. (HT etc)
He waltzed off & came back with 2 bearings and a seal.
Told him to check with micrometer. (with a snicker!)
mmmm, he said. Strange he said!
Told him to go get NTN 30204 & NTN 30206 bearings.... grumble, grumble .... OK.
Bearing got so now the seal..... He asked me if I knew which one he should go get....
Gave him ID, OD and width .......... He looked it up & got it!!
He remarked he's never ever seen that hub before!! Also asked if I wanted a job ..........
Told him I'm retired for a reason.......
Now 40 degrees tomorrow so maybe leave it for T1 to grease & fit? Sounds like a plan???
I wonder if he'll grumble too??
