Does the door open the wrong way? Or is it the drivers door?

We have family coming for Christmas and some will be staying in the bus so thought I would make sure every thing was working correctly ie shower, hot water system, cooker kitchen taps. Connected to water main supply and found that instantaneous HWS wasn't starting, sorted that out, everything else ok so decide to leave water connected.

I went out to the bus a couple of hours later to find the surrounding area saturated, turned the mains off, and on entering the bus found water running across the floor and all the ground level cupboards with approx 20mm of water in them.

After spending hours sorting out the mess and running a blow heater into the cupboards I had Julie turn the mains on only to have water hit me in the face, have Julie turn it off and I still didn't know where it was coming from. Try again, more water saturating everything, but was able to trace the problem. A day and a half later I am about to put everything back into the cupboards etc.

Below is a photo of the culprit, a connector which has been there for the last 10 years.

Ya it opens the wrong way. Door is mid-way back, passenger side. There is a "travelling" door at the front we use when on the road, this one typically when stopped. A bit dangerous still, we marked a latch on it that must be signed off in triplicate before flight ;)
