New solar
Was thinking of taking all the panels of and replace them with some smaller ones was going to try And put 10 or 12 Little’s one or more if I can find a way to hold them down ? Know I have got the room by my judgment can get around the air conditioner and air vent

Way to go I have heard... bird poop and shading issues and ya can fit more solar area on that way...IMHO

T1 installed 15 x 60W panels on my roof. If one gets a bit of shade all that is lost is 60W not 200W [depending on panel size].
Bonus is how much more you can put on if needed and get around the things [vents, sat dish, TV aerial, radio aerial etc].

Could be wrong, but a bit of shade on a big panel only reduces input, not stops it. Many times have parked under trees and been partly shaded, but still get pretty good input, which could be the MPPT. Thinking back when had a PWM controller, parking under trees meant virtually no input. Interested to hear the technical aspect of it.
