Recieved them a couple days from China package different to the way you described.
Price good aaprox $US50.00 per 100ah cell 3.2V cell inc 6 day door to door $US84.00

Will get my son (apprentice boiler maker) to make the end plates you describe, thankyou
Were they in wooden boxes marked Sinopoly with metal tab locking bits that hold the lid on? Are there product and item numbers and a bar code stamped into the top recess on the side of each cell? The 15 boxes we bought from an abandoned electric vehicle project 3 yrs or more ago cost us quite a bit more than that and we bought them at a good price so ...... very cheap considering Sinopoly cells are more expensive than Winston cells per Ah ......I'll be watching carefully to see how you go with them. I bet Chris at Enerdrive will have kittens when he finds out how much you paid for them

Not much info on storage batteries there. How did you find them... was it through Ali or similar?
Try this one

Cannot attach Specs this site says invalid format pdf??.
Paid by Pay Pal, who assure me I have 180 days to raise a dispute if the items are not as described, will be doing a couple load tests the 3 way fridge will be good for that drawing 325 watts. (I think PayPal is a pain from a suppliers point of view holding money back to cover disputes)

Terry ...packaged in 3 cardboard cartons (13 cells) with heaps of bubble wrap and tape around each cell.

Hmmm...... If you are interested we can pack/strap the cells, condition charge them and then load test them to see if they have the advertised capacity.
I only ever buy from suppliers that get their cells from the factory and they come packed in sealed rates complete with the paperwork with QC stamp and signature for each bar code on each cell. I have always been wary of 3rd party Chinese sellers as it is common thing for them to buy up QC rejects and repackaging them.
If you have the bar code numbers from each cell you could try contacting the factory and asking for a copy of the QC certificates for these cells, at least that way you will know if they have passed the factory quality control.

Double check with Sinopoly just what the load is that they rate their cells, Winston use a 0.5CA load (50% of the advertised capacity measured in amps) but I think Sinopoly were only using a 0.2CA or 20% of the advertised capacity resulting in a higher capacity reading than the 0.5CA load test.

But I intend to test close to what expect real life to be except for a 600watt electric jug, a 1200watt toaster both 10 minutes a day.
Let the 3way fridge 325 watts run for 8-10 hours and if I am maintaining a resonable voltage ...I have got what I wanted.

You may have got what you wanted when the cell/battery is only a few cycles old, surely what you want is the battery to still provide the minimum requirement at the end of 5,000 to 7,000 cycles. You can only determine if you got what you paid for by testing the cells/battery using the same conditions as the factory use and you can only get the cycle life you are hoping for if the cell/battery is A grade. You can only determine if the cell is A grade by testing the product using the factories test conditions.
The fact the Sinopoly test conditions are already watered down compared to the Winston test conditions is worry enough, I'd certainly want to know I was at least getting the best I could hope for from the product I bought in good faith.
It seems to me you are already willing to accept the product you bought is not A grade by way of not wanting to put it to the test. Surely it is better to know from the very beginning just how many Ah of capacity you really have, then you can determine if it will do the job you intended it to do without pushing it to the limits on a regular basis.

The manufacturer specifies 33 amps / 100AH @ 3.2 volts for 182 minutes
At 12.5 volts that load needs to be increased 132 amps for 182 minutes.???? right logic?
So I need to find something that will draw about 1500 watts ...a 240V toaster plus the 325watt fridge comes to mind.
That will also test my wiring for any hotspots and my whole installation....will do that.

Will let you know, Paypal will refund if they are not to specification.
I dont understand the manufacture specifies the dischage test at 33 amps and 100 amps on 100AH, where does .2C test come from cant find it the specifications supplied with the Battery.
Do I have it right the test the manufaturer is specifying between .33C and 1.0C.
