Yesterdays job was fix the Prius air con fan not always working. Ended up requiring a trip to an Adelaide wreckers to remove one from one of their vehicle cause they couldn't figure out how it came out :lol: The original unit was 10 yrs old and a constant 10 yrs use at that because the Prius is an ex Brisbane taxi with 776,000km on the clock.
Today it's an oil and filter change .... forgot how much I hated being a mechanic again after being away from it for 10 yrs. It needs a timing chain and left hand drive shaft replaced as well but I'm in no rush to do it :twisted:

adjusted the airbag lean. Not suited to australian cambers really

Adjusted the fuel rack in one turn trying to stop pesky black smoke......shock horror the oil light won't go out. Aha inadvertently knocked wire off.......phew.

I need to do that job on the Hino and the Mazda too. A bit more boost on the turbo would settle it down a bit as well and the Hino already has an issue with big gaps between the gears, so ........ No, not planning on adding a turbo to the Mazda, that might be going a tad too far :lol:
