No Terry, it is a permanent repair tape. I have a roll of the dicor product that came with the roof refurbishment kit I applied to the roof last year. I have not had to use it as yet so I don't know if it is as good as the eternabond product. I did have to remove some of the eternabond tape during that roof refurbishment and I had a hell of a time getting the old tape of. They claim up to 20 year life from the eternabond product. I have had some on the roof for more than 10 years and it is still going strong.
I had a DH repairer use a Stanley knife on the epdm when removing the ladder so I used the eternabond tape for a permanent repair.

I reckon I would be taking it back to Emu Plains for that repair Vik. The factory have done lot more than just one. Experience talks with that kind of repair.

Looks like Terry finally gets a job on my roof ... :D :D :D

Spoke to the top cookie boy at the joint I bought me Espie from, sang the song of gloom, he joined the chorus...!!!

The humpy maker rep was there,we sung him the song and he joined in on drums and beat a message to big bird plains to fix it ...

So the wheels are in motion for a new rubber... :P :P :P

Good to hear there is movement at the station Vic, things will sort themselves out eventually

I used to calibrate the data acquisition units down at British Areo Space (?) at Fishermans Bend about 25 years ago. (I think that who they were.)

Anyway, they have some HUGE vacuum chambers where they cooked off fibreglass things. Like the cargo doors on the A380.

The vacuum part was really important becuase it sucked out all the air from the wet glass/resin and made a perfect laminate.

Vic, I was thinking, maybe wrap it in a huge blanket bag and suck all the air out with the hoover. It might do the job.
