Water tank should already be full. ;)
Don't you fill when you get home from a trip ?
Been parked up for 2 months. Used a bit of water while parked. Eg wash roof, etc. I have found if i set pump on mains then I can use the fill hose to utilise the tank water. I usually top it back up when we get back from whereever.

Replacing Anode & a new fan/skylight put in yesterday. 2 wheels about to come off again to put under cover. They had to go back on to take for fan to our 12 volt person.

Took the radiator out of the Hino Thursday and delivered it to the radiator mob to clean out Friday morning on the way to Crystal Brook. Waiting for a phone call to go and collect it and empty what is left of the bank account there. Now I need to either figure out where to relocate it up the back or remove all the pipes from back to front and get the rust out. Neither looks to be a pleasant experience.

Putting winter clothes in for the Vic Silo Art Trail in June. Once again we will be down south in winter but with a diesel heater for the first time. Taking off next month.

Filled the freezers up with food, G washed the car and put the towing thing on the bus ready to hitch up and head off.

Finally I'm back to a job that I started a long time ago.
Some time ago I had to get my power steering reconditioned, which meant removing both the pump and the steering box.

Well after unfruitful attempts to get the power steering box out ( no matter what I did I couldn't get to the top 2 bolts) i ended up cutting the whole section of floor out.
It was rusty anyway and the brake pedal was a bit dicky, so I took the lot out.
Got the box out quite easily, got it repaired and refitted.

I then got distracted for a while doing other things including the leveling legs etc.
During this time I found a replacement brake treadle valve which was a bit more compact and set about getting it to fit at floor level instead of on a pedestal as before.

So got my sheet of gal, cut it up and fitted it with the repositioned brake and accelerator pedal so that hopefully I can now 'heel and toe'
I had to silver solder some more copper pipe into the air lines to get them to reach the new brake pedal position, came up good.

I also got the clutch master cylinder stainless steel sleeved and refitted, and eventually found a new slave/booster assembly for the clutch as well.

So now time to rip out the rest of the timber floor.
Some of it was quite rotten and there is also some rust underneath. Previously the floor had just been re sheeted over the top of the rot...

I have some new form ply to go in next, will be screwed and sikaflexed.

Cheers,
