Physicist Stephen Hawking has died at the age of 76, British media is reporting his family as saying.

A sad day for the world in general and especially for the scientific community and all those who loved reading is down to earth explanations about the theories of time. He appeared in a lot of pop culture shows, A Star Trek movie, a Simpsons episode, in a Pink Floyd song (Keep Talking Division Bell album 1994), a few times on The Big Bang Theory and had a unique sense of humour. He will be missed by many including me.
