I remember it well.
It was at the Darwin NT airport, en route to Russia.
Vladamier Petrovs' wife was removed by Australian Federal Police.
I guess around the early 1950's.

What is the name of the opera singer from Broken Hill who was world famous --
Her singing of "The Blue Danube" [in english] was the clearest diction I have ever heard from any singer, male or female.
