Move to SA

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Which way are you travelling, down the Sturt Hwy, Riverina Hwy or Murray Valley Hwy?

There is the shortest and there is the quickest and there is the most interesting, maybe 50km difference between them. The Sturt has the most trucks and the longest boring stretches, the Murray Valley Hwy has some of the best wineries and free camps and the Riverina Hwy has great free camps and great scenery with the least distance between towns that have reasonable facilities that cater for tyre and mechanical problems. Or you can do a mix of all of them or even come down through Ouyen to Tailem Bend/Murray Bridge and into Adelaide that way.
After so many trips across the Hay Plains we look for alternate roads these days, that piece of road is absolutely mind numbing.

Phil do you know what the road is like from Newcastle out to West Wylong?
Then to Hay and if you're going to your home in Adelaide I guess the Sturt highway would be the better option.

Through Broken Hill is another option but it's a lonely road at times....
