Pics inversion

Post by Busman »

Anyone know why this happens ?
I take a pic with my phone, transfer it to computer, see it is 90 deg out so straighten it and then adjust, resize etc (I use Paint.net) and when I open it on comp all is fine.
When I try to add here or FB it is back to the original on it's side !
Open in comp again, no problems, right way around.
Any ideas ?
Thanks
William

I do all my photo mods using Office 2010. In Edit Picture menu, compress and you get a choice of Document, Web page, E mail. I generally crop the photo first so only the bit I want is processed through the compression, then "save as" and select JPEG file interchange format, give it a different name so it doesn't mess with the original file and save it to a folder I use for emails and forum photos. Often use a number after the original photo title so the computer sees it as a different file.
I tried a lot of the others photo programs but I found this on the easiest to use by far.

It's in the photo details.
Can you try Irfanview & report back.

Naw don't use that Bruce, came up fine on website and another forum so will just give it a miss, seems have to be very small as well in comparison to other forums, when I shrink that much they are distorted. NO apples here. Thanks anyway.
