Rather than cushioning the bump wouldn't it be better to prevent it in the first place ?
What about having the exising leaves reset and/or an overload leaf fitted ?

Does that wheel drive as well? Vik might need the added drive wheel when the back wheels are off the ground half way out of the driveway

Lance it is a very expensive, brand new outfit.
The overhang on those Wantabagos must be close to illegal. (in my opinion!)
I'd love to run a tape measure over a few that I've seen lately.
There is one presently on the road into the Marina that is an example I'm talking about.
If it's still there in the morning I'll grab a photo of it.
Steve how close to the limit for length is yours?
"""Rear overhang on rigid trucks - Lesser of 3.7 metres or 60% of wheelbase."""
Definitely would be a problem going through the creeks going up to the Cape tip!!

I'll measure mine next time I visit it at Strath. It's not really an issue for me with the Isuzu but I had the wheel on the previous MH so I put it on this one. On the Isuzu it has only ever touched the ground at right angle to a steep driveway. On the previous Fiat/Jayco it lived on the ground.

We packed the Hino and in about 1/2hr we will hopefully head off for Taggerty. Flat battery this morning because I accidentally left the main connection switch on and the engine system has a continuous drain. Luckily we have a good battery pack as the house battery and a large inverter, just plugged a battery charger into the inverter 240v and charged the start battery for 1/2hr and away it went :D
