Manildra Showground, NSW

Post by Marty »

For our last night on our way home we stayed at the Manildra Showground $15 per night power and water, I think non powered was $10. Manildra is between Parkes and Orange, the amenities are new and spotless there is a small camp kitchen area including a washing machine and there is also a dump point on site. On arrival Alan the caretaker gives you a booklet with what's available in town, the pub runs a shuttle bus for meals when on, there is also a bowls and golf club. There is plenty of room for big rigs. Marty

Thanks for the big rigs comment Marty, it is appreciated when you have one, to know a place has plenty of room from a traveller is different than ringing a manager who cannot visualise 19 mtrs so just say "no problem" but when you get there tells you no way.

Hi Busman, yes there is plenty of room, all the power and water is located either site of the Showground arena fence so basicaly there is no one opposite you, Alan is very helpful in helping you into a site if you require it. Cheers, Marty
