Where is Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

That's what I'm doing to. I think Hans and Linda Dusink are there to [MH called "The Chalet"] Highway Wanderer stickers on it.

Picking my self up off the floor after being flattened, run through the mincer and spat out by the NSW motor accident "legal" system, I use the term lightly because the way NSW motor vehicle accident law is written could never be viewed as constitutionally legal. How I could be judged on evidence from supposed "Doctors" who are immune from cross examination or even having to appear in the court is legal in Australia has me at a loss, how such laws can be written and passed should have every Australian citizen worried about what could be done to them and have absolutely no defence to protect their rights. :P

7700 km? you must have just about seen every rock down there on the South island? How many km's as the crow (sorry... kiwi) flies from top to bottom?

The most direct route from Hastings to Invercargill is right on 1300 km. We enjoy checking out all the nooks and crannies so the old crow has absolutely no influence on our chartered course. When we left home three months ago, we only had a couple of definite plans with the rest of the meander decided as weather and our mood influenced us resulting in a lot of zig zagging. This is our third year in succession with a 3 month Autumn South Island adventure. I do have the incentive that an Interislander Ad on nzmotorhome.co.nz by way of a contra covers our return crossing each year which even with the significant NZMCA discount comes in at around $800 return for our 15 metre rig ;) No need for a snorkel on my Jeep - apart from maybe minimising dust in the intake. There were Mitsubishi Outlanders and even a Honda CRV on that Nevis crossing :!:

Cheers
