We are tonight in the motor home park in Pt Augusta, which by the way is packed. $7 a night is better than $35.10 or $39 for 2 people at the Discovery park (big 4)
Spent time in Cowell and Whyalla today, beautiful winters day, families out enjoying themselves in Whyalla at the park near the beach.

Stopped off at Port Germein and went for a walk on the jetty for about 400 metres, cold wind so I retreated back and drove on to Port Pirie and had a look around, look around at the Train Stn museum and lunch at the International hotel $9.80 for a hot lamb roast, was nice on a cold day. Drove down via Clare to Auburn CP and that's were we stopped, been in this area before so gave Clare a miss.

There was a good frost on the oval next to the CP, our outside temp display showed -2.3 deg C at 7.20 am shortly after the sun rose. We turned the Truma heater on at 7.00 and stayed in bed for the 20 minutes till the inside temperature was tolerable.

Now sitting on the river bank in Mannum, dark and cold when we arrived today after visiting Terry and Margaret, will have a look at the river in the morning and peruse the town. What a great shed Terry has moved into, wish it was in my backyard. Will return to said shed Thursday and aquire more knowledge(lol) from Terry again.

We are on the track again, having escaped out of the Pilliga forest to Narrari on Sunday night just ahead of the rain that started and drizzled most of Monday, today we visited Mt Kaputar and Sawn Rocks and now back in Showgrounds. Onto Moree tomorrow for 2 nights before heading to Carnarvon Gorge for a few days.

Now at Mossman and visiting the Gorge tomorrow morning, after lunch doing a run up to Cape Tribulation, heading up to the Atherton Tablelands for a few days.
