Roberts Move to SA

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Pays to check the smaller places, banks or credit unions, banks have done their dash for us now. Never deal with any business that can't / wont employ people that you can understand dealing with you. Aren't there any Australians that can do that job or are we too lazy to work? Whoops I am on a rant again, G just gave me drugs again..

Dottie,
:? I'm not sure it's wise to admit something like that on a public forum...

Went to the lawers today and signed some papers, waiting to here back from the bank about signing their lot. So slowly drifting to the end in this neck of the woods. Cheers

Saw on a news promo that they are looking into prescription apps for the phone, so now you don't even need to leave home to get your prescription drugs ...... does this mean they are starting to catch up with the illicit drug dealers that take an order over the phone and home deliver?

Well only eleven days to go before we are homeless except for the van. Have been trying to sell what we can but most people either believe you are a charity to give it away or offer a price which would make a good offer. A few come straight to the value you are wanting because they know a good price before they go looking.

Ride on mower and catcher. Went with the first to see and offered what we wanted.
Paving brick dropped the price by 40% and they still want to cut you down further.
IBC fish tank with window cost me $500 to build and we are offering for free, basicaly being asked a life history on the fish we raised.
Round open top 6000litre tank we used for fish asking $100 four wanting to under cut and history on fish and did we give them names. One bloke offered price and quick pickup.

The list goes on but certainly a testing time on human nature.

Put the van on the market and had a few looker and a couple of no shows. If sold ok as I have found a 21 ft with full ensuite I would like plus it has a gas heater.

Any way my bitch after a hard week. Still have not found a house in Adelaide so will now hold off untill we are there. We are looking forward to going and will post a rougth route later so if we are going near any one give us a call as would like to get to know more members. Cheers Robert

Robert the human race is a weird mob for sure, if I see something I want/ need and it is a fair price then I will pay the price asked. Tell the kickers to get lost, don't give in to their rubbish. Might be better off bringing stuff with you. There is something here for you but the right one hasn't come up yet but it will even if an adjoining suburb it may be. See you soon.:)

Morning Dot no proplems the wife is being very restraint in telling them where to go. As for the house yes I believe we will find what we want when we are there so no problems.

Human nature yes does bring out something in people, the mate has said all along that he would take the tank and cut it down for raised garden beds if we do not sell. Now the bloke who was willing to pay the asking $100 wants bottom price as the poor old B has to drive 2 hrs to pick it up. Why bother in the first place so it looks like the mate will have new garden beds.

Hoping to have every thing sorted out this weekend so next week is just a cruise, cheers Robert

Last few days here and the place is looking good. All the aquaponic gear is gone and the bloke who took it even loaded his ute with the last major pile of rubbish and took it to the dump.

Yesterday we went to see some of the wifes relatives that live in Brisbane and a bit further south. Bad news with the uncle in Brisbane as he was rushed to hospital with breathing trouble.. The second uncle and aunt were home but not looking the best. This getting old is the pits.

Last day of packing today as they are picking up tomorrow and we will be glad when it is done. Wednesday the house will be cleaned and final inspection at 1pm. Thursday have a new tyre put on the caravan and then turn south and wave good bye.

Take care and safe travelling if you are on the road, cheers Robert
