BruceS wrote: Wed Jul 25, 2018 8:30 am If you get it from the shower fan you'd probably need that one switched on for the 'new' one to work unless you get the feed from the switch. (live side)
Sorta right Bruce, the shower fan has it's switch in the housing tingo, so I will get juice before the fan switch... BUT for that to work ya have to activate the house panel (sorta main switch) which is OK by me...

Keep the reports on T1's work comin in to... ;)

PS, there is a beer in the fridge for yaz... :P

vik... Turn it on first...!!! :|
Don't think the wiring through the master switch box or from there to the shower fan is heavy enough to run the shower fan as well as one of those max air vents, the max air vent does draw quite a bit of current while opening the vent hatch, could be the death of one of those circuit boards if it does draw more than it was designed to handle.
As far as turning beer on ..... not sure I want to know how you do that or how you know how to do that  But I will check the M/H fridge and transfer some to the workshop fridge, just to keep them from overheating of course 8-)
Minimum 5 amps...!!!

Had engine serviced & all grease nipples refilled in prep for Bugger-Off Day in about 10 days.
New radio fitted. All I have to do now is learn to fly it! 🤒
Next job: complete scrub-down of front glass, so we can see where we’re going!! 😑
(Got a bit grubby when panelbeater was removing the remains of a sticker over driver’s side of windscreen.)

Took the van down to Mannum today to get T1 to check out the problems I have caused his lithium install and to wire in a couple of little fans to extract the heat. Understand it all a bit better now and promise not to stuff it up again. Thanks Terry. Also nice to catch up with a few people again.
Cheers John

Put more food and clothes back in the bus after we also got back from Mannum where we also met up with some old friends. Hate to tell you Ray but if Wayne gets his spanners on little Jim, nah never mind, I am not that cruel..

Is it an A174 tranny Terry?
Ummm....... Ray, do you know? I haven't had a chance to do much more than push it around the yard and get the start battery out cause it's dead flat ... but I have got it on a charger now, is that a plus on the score board?
T1,
My technical knowledge of Jim’s innards extends to this: “It’s an automatic.”😎
I do know it’s a 1.3 litre 4 cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine which will run on either 91 octane or E10. 😁
Have you checked the manual? Driver’s door pocket when I said my farewells 😢

Wayne,
Please warm your spanners before approaching Jim. 🤗😜
