We have an Aldi machine and a Breville Cafe Cord Free percolator and a stove top percolator, the Breville wins hands down but I don't like bitter coffee. Grown quite a taste for Gloria Jean's Caramel infussion mixed with Vittoria Nero or Aldi Mezzo, both 100% Arabica, what ever that is  We found the Aldi pods too bitter, but the chocolate is good, if we have the patience we do a 50/50 with coffee and chocolate, that's not too bad. Instant just doesn't cut the mustard these days, which is a bugga, hard to go visiting  I did quite like Moccona before the taste of percolated coffee was introduce as a home available thing, now we find it hard to even buy a good coffee when we are out.

Terry, when I go visiting, to the hairdresser or wherever I get offered coffee or tea, if I know the coffee will be instant I always ask for tea. Can't stand instant these days.

I've got an KMart ($69) Nespresso machine at home next to a Saeco Incanto auto coffee machine and a Nespresso Pixie in the bus. I luv good coffee but all of them require 240v which I don't have when on the road or as cheap/free campsites. I just hafta have a good coffee or I get real grumpy.

I also love my gadgets too.

I often wonder if that was the driver behind the lithium batteries, so we had 240vac on tap to power the gadgets  nothing like the torment at a free camp of the bread maker and percolator smells drifting across the camp site before the sun has come up 8-)

Terry, we were thrilled to find our Aldi machine runs off our inverter. Can't have anything else running simultaneously but that's a small inconvenience.

I like to put the slow cooker and the induction stove out on a table by the van when doing a stew etc.
You have to brown the meat and the onion and I can have the smell inside the bus.
Did upset a few at Ayson's reserve when I had the aircon going.
