Drove down to Bellingen Showgrounds today, lo and behold, the place was sodden. We reckoned that if we parked the van overnight, it may have sunk below the door by morning. So we drove off and over the highway to Urunga. We found a caravan park for $25 per night, same as showy, so all is ok. We will do a day trip over the highway tomorrow and get to do a slow visit in Bellingen antway. It's one of those arty farty places that I love to visit and that's what we plan for this trip. Been very arty farty.

Well, our visit to Bello, as the locals call it, was very arty farty. We looked at some galleries and woodcarvings and stuff. Had a fancy lunch at the old milk factory (twas yummo) and returned back to the van. We are off down the highway again tomorrow and soon this trip will be over.

A rest day you asked Deborah? Nah needed to get out so had my dyke hair cut and G had a few stray hairs cut off and a cut and polish. Browsed just about all the shops finding little items for the bus, visit to bruntings, and just snooped around for a few hrs. Tonight I even managed to get a bowl of tinned soup down the throat so happy with that Buggered out though so goodnight everyone x Goodnight Craig x

Helen, my happy pants are the all cotton patchwork kind..elastic waist, big pockets and loose fitting straight legs. They may look a bit like I escaped from Nimbin, but they are really comfortable.

Today we ventured down the highway to Port Macquarie. The weather is a bit thundery and stormy, but we are still away from home and all that we are running away from , reality will happen next week.

The boys on bikes are on and guess who went to sleep till just 22ks to go? Our friend just came and picked up her little dog that we have been doggie sitting for the past 3 weeks has now left the building. Dot, been watching the cycling from the start & whilst I like the beginning of each telecast better than the TDF I'm getting really frustrated with the amount of racing being shown.

50 - 60 Klm as a general rule.

Last nights race was 75% over before we even got to see it.

Had a lovely day in Port Mac today. Went to a large market, bought a few new-ish books and some Christmas shopping done in lovely sunshine. Now it's cold n rainy again. So it's off to a welcome warm bed, very early, for me,
