Just received a phone call from my daughter Kelly-Lee that they have prepped her for emergency spinal surgery at Canberra hospital, a disc is cutting into the spinal cord. We will probably head off tonight or in the morning, depends how long it takes to finish off the small jobs here and pack the Mazda.
No doubt she will be out of theatre and possibly out of post op by the time we get there and hopefully she will get the feeling back in her lower body and legs. No idea just how long the recovery will take. At 38 she is still young so should heal well, but way too young to be suffering this sort of spinal damage.

Drive safe to get there T&M. Fingers crossed it'll turn out well. Hopefully Kelly-Lee has inherited some of her old man's persistence & stubborness to see her through this.

All will be ok with Kelly-lee and her surgery, they do fantastic stuff with backs these days, look how well I did
