Maybe you should have gone to Bunnings if you wanted a sausage or gone to Spec 'Savers and read the book earlier   Glad it has worked out for you,was the reset of the air unit or the remote?

Onion danger at bunningtons...

The reset was on the unit, then you have to reset the remote once you have reset the unit so the reset remote can work the reset unit...

The fuse was blown at 6.3 and the bloke at Cararest rang trauma ant that bloke said “yea, the sixers blow at the drop of, so go for 8 amp slow blow SF2121 which I did

And me thinks what did it was, had the AC on 240 ,pulled the power lead out to move the Espie so the solar and inverter musta kicked in with a spike and poped the fuse...???

Lesson learned... the hard way...!!! :(

Unplugging the power lead when the air con was running and compressing the gases, depending on the delay of the inverter changeover, would mean the compressor would be trying to start against a large amount pressure, thus causing a much higher current draw which will blow fuses.Sounds feasible to me from prior experiences.........Peter.

Ahhh yes, the old "when all else fails, read the manual" trick, catches them every time. Something like this should be in all appliances viewtopic.php?f=21&t=5662&p=94023#p94023
