Hi Lesley, would be good if we could meet on the way, this first 3 months we will only be travelling along the Vic coast line and as far up as maybe Eden just didn't want to come home after the wedding we have in Gippsland, our big trip will be from July heading outback NT and across to Qld.. we will be home in Ballarat for June . Where are you heading..... :?: :?:

Cheers Ros.

Dot - WTF do you mean? You know what gentle souls we are. :-)

Ros, we head south around 1st March but we will stick to the inland byways. No set plan apart from arriving at Gentle Annies's in good time for Easter. We then have 2 months to mooch around till we have to be in Winton on 1st June. From there our time is not our own as we will be part of a tag-along across the Outback way to Laverton in WA. Then we will spend time in Perth and around the lower part of WA, heading across to SA then north to the Alice again to spend time in the McDonnell Ranges to spend times in places we will not have time to see on the the tag-along. Then we will make our way back to Brisbane to relieve our house sitters by 1st October.

Maybe we will cross paths somewhere. :D

How quickly the $ find their way out of your wallet. Went to the dentist this morning ( first for at least 15 years). Ok no comments  I am one of those folk really terrified of dentists & yes I have been told there are some advances :!: since the days of the school drill :!: a few weeks ago I took a small piece out of the back of one of my 9 teeth on the bottom & my tongue was continually finding the rough spot & getting quite sore. Got this very lovely Indian lady (due for a bub in 2 weeks). Every 2 secs it seemed as though she was asking if I was Ok :)
Anyway had to end up paying $142 & insurance paid $262.
We thought that the van Tv was on the way out but bought inside to try the antenna on the house- worked fine but would not scan any chanels in van on either 12 or 240v. Maybe not the TV but the Antenna?
Off to a great guy at Margate whom we have been to before- whiz with anything camping. Bruce just left now with the van for him to fully check the Winegard & the TV to see what is the problem.
Hell, how many more $ going out before the rent starts to coming in?
Our neighbours will be wondering what the hell we are doing- van here one minute & gone the next
Time is passing too quickly so live life to the full with your spouse/partner while you still have she/he by your side.

Are you there yet Norman?? Could have got you a ride over with Ozfueler early next week But that's the way the cookie crumbles...

Took Miss Tippy toes to the vet this morning before we headed for town and Physio. Picked her up when we got home and the vet has just rang with details.. Her blood tests show her kidneys are on the downward slide, she is to have her under the skin fluids twice a week now and half strength saline so it looks like we will be having to make that decision rather soon.. :( While she is eating she's ok
