Love that Basil Faulty Great day weather wise today nice and cool. Had a surprise visit from an old school friend (primary school) he and his wife said they were wondering how I was doing and decided to come and ask me themselves They live in Ballan Vic so how cool was that? Happy Straya day too.
Apart from doing a grocery shop, we have done very little... just too hot to even think about going into the yard. So we didn't do much. I spent the afternoon doing some research, buying some pretty bits of glass (from yanky land of course) and generally doing bugga all.

Not yet time for nighty-nights... although a SCAN* appeals right now.
Last night turned the A/c off at 0100 beddy-byes... only to get up again at 0230 and turn it ON again.
Bedside clock/thermometer said 32... at 0230!!
Stayed on until rising at sparrow-fart (0615).
Good thing we have solars to bring the power bill down.................
Cool & cloudy today: only 37deg in the shade.

Yes Ray, it's late in NSW. The rest of em can wait, but it's tomorrow here already. Last night we endured parties all around us until after 2am, then as soon as I hit the pillow the cretins put a very noisy tinnie out on the lake and puttered around the bay for an hour. ggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Tonight, another noisy party, right next door was continuing along, finally his nibs stood on our verandah and called out to them that it is time to shut the heck up. I had already stood at the door and used a little bit stronger language, but as they were so loud they probably didn't hear me. His nibs edition seems to have worked, so I think I will head off for some shut eye too now.

Bed time I think, I was up soooooooooo early today i.e. 7 am We were going to check the block to make sure the nasty weeds had died and also had some bits of foam to pick up from that place called Mannum. Met our new neighbours at Mt Pleasant and they seemed quite nice. So goodnight everyone x Goodnight Bobr x

We had another scorcher here today, well into the 40s and I am not handling the heat very well at all. So today I weeded a bit of garden, picked a kilo of tiny tomatoes and then stayed in the house for the rest of the day. The most energy that I used was to make up a sweet n sour chooken dinner from scratch. I rarely want to cook Chinese, because of all the preparation, but it's just what I felt like and nobody really delivers food here, so it's either make it yourself or starve.

Yep all the weeds that were sprayed were dead with just a couple of new calthrops making an appearance so they were dug up and disposed of. The neighbour was good telling us where the winter water ran onto the block, which Drs, mechanic NOT to go to. Needless to say I was knackered and today woke up just after 1pm. Tomorrow arvo it is to the hosp for some more tests. Oh how wonderful NOT. Time for bed e buys so goodnight everyone x Goodnight Martin aka Dapope x
