So far the computer man was worth it Dot. I am using it and all seems well. Happy driving into the city, you have my commiserations....I hate traffic of any kind, so I hope the traffic is kind to you xxxx
Had another busy day in my shed, but very little to show for it. The phone kept ringing and it was people who I had to talk to, so much chat. Anyways, the best phone call was from the local lapidary club wanting to buy my silver rolling mill. They are coming after breakfast to look at it...sounds promising. So a little bit of spending money for the weekend will be good.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Deb,
Just on the subject of rolling precious metals, it seems that our politicians have confused rolled gold and solid gold. They keep referring to things as a ‘rolled gold opportunity ‘ and the like, with obvious enthusiasm as if it’s the best thing going.
When I was growing up, SOLID gold was the tops... if for example you wore a rolled gold bracelet, it was hollow and just APPEARED to be large & expensive, when in fact it was a cheapie.
Do I have it right?

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
The trip to town was good but the return trip was a PITA. Going through the tunnels the road speed signs started at 90-80-60 then 40 kph with the peak hr build up there was many stops and starts, Get about 5 ks up the road and WTF? Nothing to be seen in the way of any roadworks.
Had the bumpy neck measured with a device that measures the amount of fluid under the skin, the right side had gone down by a little bit but the left side is up compared to before.
Today has been sooooooo cold so I am going to hit the sack, I was watching the footy (Bombers) .But the ref is a wanker with some of his decisions. So it's a goodnight from me to everyone x

Dot, hope the road trips improve. xxxx
Ray, yes you are very right. Pollies are all wrong, dont care what they say.
Very profitable day, and they gave me cash...yeehaaa. Also one of the members of the club, bought a pendant from me, so even better.
It's 12 degrees here and with the wind chill faxctor I reckon it;s closer to 6 so off to a warm bed.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
HI Dot . Had a BBQ with No.2 son at the camp kitchen with the pot belly heater going and tried out the new gas hot water system. All the mod-cons now. No.2 son ( the upholsterer ) helped moved the upholstery shed around to the new block and it is now mostly set up. He hopes to start his own business in Mount Barker and also take some jobs in Loxton to help his income for a while. The house building is painfully slow as I cannot get much action out of the builders. Probably be up in aged care before it is finished.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Sounds like you have been busy in the camp kitchen bet it is really cosy with a pot belly in there. How did the concrete pour go in the old house? When is the #2 lad start up in Mt B? hope he does well. Back to the city tomorrow to see the tongue man, hoping for the OK to head off north. Time to get showered and hit the sheets as a very early start to top it off. Brian bought me a lovely Cyclamen for mothers day, such a lovely boy he is.
Goodnight everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
You are never stopping now Dot, keep it up mate xxxx
Had a busy mother's day with all the family visitting, nice to have them here and nice to see them go. I was so stuffed that I had an early night last night. Back at the chiros today and it does feel better. Used the kids present voucher to buy a new fake dremel, so happy at last. Next stop was to sign my life away for a new phone...take a bit of getting used to it. I spent all afternoon just setting it up for the interweb and car wifi.
My brain hurts with all this new stuff to learn about
nighty night you lot xxx

Deborah, I changed from Telstra to Boost for my mobile and while I was on the Boost website I bought a smartphone outright for $39.00, happy with that.
