"tanks" here---
I finally got the "TANK" into action and went for a drive to the servo to pump up the tyres and then go for a run up and down the hiway to give the old thing a run. I enjoyed the drive and almost thought that I should keep going and end up in Wyalkatchem for a change of scenery, but then a rethink, and as my lady friend is driving over here from Perth to share my birthday I parked then "TANK" till next tyre check.
Helen and Paul have been gone for 5 days now and I miss their company, my kitchen is such a lonely place now.
Such a busy day and all after Anzac Day parade and service.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
May I suggest replacing the link between the 2 battery packs with a cable with a big loop in it. Had a start battery failure in the Hino that turned out to be a fractured link between two cell packs, took ages to find it, the symptoms were a failed cell, because the voltage was always there but nothing there when attempting to start the engine, not enough material left in the copper link to carry the current required.
