Bruce, not a hayway but a samsung. Several people have told me similar stories aboout samsungs lately. It just stopped working, with 70% battery power and could not be revived, except by the tech. I dont think the tech will travel with us when on the road!

David, facebook is my next port of call. I didn't think of that until I had already lodged the problem with the ombudsman, so have to follow it up on those paths first. Beside which, I know that if I go back to Ombudsman with the problem unresolved, optus will have to pay a large fine...yes!

Today, the weather was abominable (spell it anyway you like, the weather was crap) I did venture down to my shed in the afternoon, but only stayed a couple of hours. Way too cold n miserable down there.

Ray, I would like to ignore that comment, but until i turn on the elecktrickery, the kiln doesnt warm up. If its too late in the day to start it, I have to return to it after the 6-8 hours that it takes to get up to heat, so that I can control it's slow dropping of temps. So some days, it just doesn't get turned on. Not prepared to stay out in the shed after dark.

Spent a lot of today , packing the van. Off to Tuncurry tomorrow with the jayco mob. I need a break.

Time to hit the nice warm bed as temp is dropping quite quickly. God there are some really rude travellers out here, park where ever they want and stuff any one else. And the amount of bush roses is un believable what a filthy species we are. Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Chuck x

Tonight we are still frozen, but in the van. So it's not such a big space to heat and with the little oil filled heater is quite toasty. My electric blanket will be turned on soon too.
Tuncurry is very nice, so another day of retail therapy coming up.
