Another Hole in the leg

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Our neighbour has a row of palms along our common fenceline. They look like Yukka Palms.

Buggers drop leaves on our side of the fence.
- They don't decompose, they just dry out.
- Can't compost them.
- Council says we can't burn them.

So they go in the normal garbage... not our Green Waste bin. Don't want them contaminating the mulch Council produces from the G-W bin contents.
Regards & God bless,

JP is back in Hospital and was transferred from Milton Hospital to Nowra community this afternoon he has had a scan, results his leg will be operated on to-morrow,to scrape away the gunk,

What has transpired so far: 2 days after his run in with the barb from the palm tree he went to the Doctor with pain stiffness in the knee joint, he was put on heavy duty antibiotics, another 3 days later after his evening shower he started chucking up could not stand up & was disoriented ending up in hospital.

Because of the cost of taking up a bed being $1.500.00 a day JP was sent home with the canualla still in his arm & a district nurse came twice a day and administered a drip containing antibiotics for 5 days, which finished last Thursday, he leg was still sore & he had to continue the antibiotics tablets till finished, He had a bad day Sunday & applied ice packs, this Morning his wife took him to the hospital, right now he is not very well
Hoping for a better day to-morrow after the gunk is taken out.

Ouch the poor man. Hope he comes good after they debride the stuff. If they want to chuck him out before he is ready or you are not happy, do not take him home, stick to your guns. Was a bit of the spike still in his leg? Lets hope this is the end of your rotten run of luck Glenda.. hugs to you both x :D

Jeez, something that sounds relatively minor then it turns into something serious. Hope all goes well here.

Not good news at all Glenda and JP, hope they get it sorted properly this time... all from a palm tree barb, just goes to show that it's not always the big injuries that cause all the trouble.
Fingers crossed for you and get well soon wishes on the way for JP.

Jp had his opp 7pm last night seams to have had cartilage damage from a previous accident that was tidied up while he was under

tissue Culture has been sent away for testing which will take 3 days to find out what the infection is in the mean time he is on high dose intravenous antibiotics

What ever it is has effected his lungs although today he is breathing easier, to morrow we may know a bit more one thing for sure they won't keep him any longer than they have to

He will miss all the nice nurses he is getting spoilt
