Last coupla daze we've had minus three & minus four :shock:
Big frosts on front lawn & golf course at rear, but not on our (south-facing)back yard, which is also protected by a line of VERY large eucalypts.
This winter stay is enforced, on account of renovations which not only need supervision, but lots of $$$ to donate to local tradies. :shock:
Probably our first & last winter here... we'll Grey Nomad it in future.

I am also convinced that staying home during the winter months is a real bad idea. In the bus right now the temp is 22.6 degs and am still in short dacks and top. :D :D

Hi Martin
I thought you were heading north this winter.
It's a comfortable 32 in the bus now Derby forcast max 32 today.

That WAS the plan. I even retired! Then the better half picked up the perfect job... Paid to drive around WA and teach adult education. Then another organisation offered more work... The gap to head north has disappeared, the furtherestnorth in september will be Carnarvon. :(

I know how you feel our plans change quite regularly.
I will try to catchup when I get down that way.
