Dot, You will be fine. Leave Aratula after 10am and before 2pm, You will miss all the trucks and the school buses that way. It is just one big looooong hill. The last 500 metres is the worst bit. There is no real down hill on the other side, just a nice cruise into Warwick.
Cheers

I agree with you David. Don't get caught short on that last pinch. I've seen a few think it might get up & over in a certain gear but by the time they realize it won't it's too late to grab another gear. Trying to hold the brakes on & taking off again is not something you need!
Always be one gear further down than you can use. As soon as you start losing momentum, grab the next gear down....
I've seen some crawl all the way in a VERY low gear to avoid the change down.
You'll be OK Dot.......... just wear a couple of pair of knickers in case ...........

Re: Kalbar Dump point Qld
haha... yup!!
All the many times I went from Adel to Melb or reverse direction, I always had to giggle as I went past a turnoff to Roses Gap ....
Never did detour to take a gander!
I reckon it was between Dadswells Bridge & Stawell?
Wimmera Jack have you ever ventured out there?

Would you settle for Dadswell Bridge and Horsham? I've never had a good look either!
