This is the dump point at the Kalbar showgrounds Qld. Not impressed with this ??set up..1/ Right next to the loos and showers. 2/ vans within coo wee around the dump. 3/ the rise up to the dump point is not big enough for big rigs..
Showgrounds cost $18 pn with power/water, not very well thought out.

Sometimes, after visiting places like this, I often wonder if people with no onboard facilities realise that it doesn't make any difference if they park 5 metres away or 25 metres. They are still going to have to walk to the loo. Bloody inconsiderate I reckon. And, of course, stupid planning.

I think maybe the reference was more to do with the people camping right alongside the toilets Jim.
The dump point issue is a forever changing target I think. Wasn't that long ago there were very few rigs with holding tanks. Most had cassettes. The main thing councils look for when installing them is to be close to the sewer pipes or else it costs a lot to install them.

I am just telling people what the dump point is like in case they want to use it at some time. OK for fit/younger people to carry their cassettes of approx 15kg up a muddy mound but for a large rigs with black tanks it is no good at all as it would sink Plus there are vans all around the thing thus making access even more impossible.
