and there is that whole "challenge" thing as well
T1,
I know. It's a 'man' thing. You might have to explain it to Margaret & Dottie.
I've given up explaining it to SWMBO... she just rolls her eyes and walks away. :P

Glad I didn't buy a lotto ticket if those buses are stripped out. They are advertised as going with the specs which includes cells etc, but no ticket, no win, no buses

Be VERY careful if you EVER consider buying an ex-STA bus from South Australia.
I'm not sure about current ones but a lot of the old ones were a few inches over the legal width of a vehicle allowed on SA roads.
There was a chap North of Adelaide that started buying them for just a few $$$ and then removing each side wall, cutting a bit out & re=ataching the wall again.
Seems a chap up in Qld tried the same after having them trucked up there ...... Nanango was it?

That is an explanation in itself in a woman's eyes. That was one of my better come-backs to an ex .... hold back a bit, I'm only male so I can only do one thing at a time. So I either fixing it, or listening to you tell me how to fix it or going to where you are about to tell me to go, so which will it be ..... I never did figure out how to go and F***k myself and she never offered instructions on how to do it  I was already in hell but mentioning that didn't improve the situation so I kept that bit of information to myself ;)

A thread here about the bits stripped out http://forums.aeva.asn.au/viewtopic.php ... ba7#p73170 I think the price was around $30,000 for the motor, inverter and gearbox. Way over my budget and the issues with wiring etc made me decide to go back to the original plan.
Gotta do the Kombi first to get the experience, then if the budget and body can handle it, big bus would be next on the list.
